Registered Behaivor

Technician (RBT)

Sunshine Therapies is excited to announce that we are currently expanding our team and actively seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians to join us in making a meaningful impact. As an RBT with Sunshine Therapies, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and contribute to the positive development of individuals through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Providing direct client care in one-on-one and group settings

  • Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols

  • Collecting and recording data based on client behavior

  • Communicating with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress

  • Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition

  • Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of client materials

 

Qualifications: 

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Pass a criminal background check 

  • Complete the 40-hour RBT training course

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Sunshine Therapies is thrilled to announce a rewarding opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team. As a key member of Sunshine Therapies, the BCBA will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and supervise a meaningful care plan with personalized goals and programming to address the needs of each patien

  • Conduct detailed assessments and reassessments

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to RBTs

  • Develop and monitor data collection

  • Provide parent training

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with patients families and respond to questions in a timely manner

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments

  • Communicate with the Clinical Director on a regular basis

  • Provide a weekly update email or facilitate team meetings

  • Uphold regular treatment integrity checks

  • Adhere to the relevant CPT codes

Qualifications: 

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field.

  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) – VA

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

  • Minimum of 1-year experience with children/adolescents with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities

  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
